Teton Marketing Highlighted on KGWN Cheyenne, WY…

Recently we joined the Wyoming First Program that is run by the Wyoming Business Council.  The purpose Wyoming First is to assist companies located in this state with identification and promotion of their Wyoming made products or substantially enhance products and services.  Wyoming is a small state population wise but Wyoming is a very strong state financially and they are all about helping business within the state prosper.  You would be surprised at all the small companies in this state.

Last month we were contacted about our products and invited to provide additional information about what we do.  Wyoming Made wanted to highlight our little company on KGWN News in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  We were flattered and so we supplied them with the requested information.  Below is the clip from the show were they highlighted our little Jackson Hole Company.  Take a moment and check it out…

Wyoming Made, Made In Jackson Hole…

Wyoming Made, Made in Jackson Hole…

At a time when “MADE IN THE USA” is practically an anomaly there are still a few small businesses out there trying to create new products and services that can boast the “MADE IN THE USA” title.  Wyoming is a state that actually has quite a large number of small entrepreneurs that craft products from their home or small business and sell them to the public both within the borders of Wyoming and abroad.  One place that highlights these Wyoming based businesses is the Wyoming Business Council and they list many of these businesses on their website www.wyomingfirst.org.

Blaire Jennings

The Wyoming First Program is a way to identify and showcase great products made in Wyoming.  All of the companies listed on this website call Wyoming home and are proud of the quality they represent.  Wyoming First provides you with the opportunity to shop and locate products that are made within this state.  This post today is no exception.  I want to highlight a member of my family that is doing just that – designing and making products for sale right here in Jackson Hole.  Blaire joins others here in Jackson that also make and sell their products though retail outlets and their websites.

Blaire Jennings is a college student in her Junior year at CU Boulder in Colorado and she is studying Digital Art, Studio Art and Communications.  Blaire has always been a creative soul and she loves painting, shaping pottery, photography, pretty much design of any kind.  Over the past year Blaire along with her mother Peyton have created a unique line of hand crafted jewelry all made by hand right here in Jackson Hole.  Her latest creation is a line of wooden feather like earrings featuring very high quality sterling silver findings.  These whimsical feather like earrings are being marketed under the name “307 Wear” and they are gaining in their popularity with locals and others living outside of the state of Wyoming.  “307 Wear” simply translates into “Wyoming Wear” as the area code of 307 is unique to the state of Wyoming.  In addition to earrings Blaire is adding some of her necklace designs and currently has many new ideas under development.

What started out as an idea has started to blossom into a small business opportunity for Blaire and she is starting to make some headway.  These earrings are truly unique and one of a kind.  They are crafted from woods such as Walnut, Maple, Ironwood, Bubinga and other wood species.  Each pair is hand crafted and no two pairs are exactly a like.  They retail from $39.00 a pair up to $69.00 a pair depending on the wood species and sterling silver findings.  If you would like to find out more about these whimsical feather like earrings check out our website at www.tetonmarketing.com and see what Blaire currently has to offer.  Blaire is looking for potential retail outlets that may want to carry some of her designs.  She especially would like to find retail outlets here in her home state of Wyoming in addition to all other parts of the U.S.A.  If you would like more information about 307 Wear than contact Peyton or Blaire at “sales@tetonmarketing.com” .

A Family Affair…

Many of you who are familiar with us know that we have operated several websites/businesses for quite some time.  For me I have been in the health insurance business for more than 26+ years and we have operated our insurance website IndividualHealth.com since 1994.  Over the past several years we have ventured into new opportunities and I wanted to highlight one of them that is dear to my heart in this article.

Blaire & Tim

What started as a hobby has blossomed into a business that today incorporates our entire family.  Tetonmarketing.com is our website that showcases our hand crafted Native American Flutes and now a new line of hand crafted jewelry, all made right here in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.  Our oldest daughter Blaire is currently a Junior at CU Boulder, in Colorado and she leads the family with her unique hand crafted designs.  She has always been a student of art most of her life and currently she is studying Digital Design, Studio Art and Communications at CU Boulder.

Recently Blaire and her mom, Peyton, collaborated on a new line of wooden earrings.  The currently focus has been on a line of hand crafted, wooden feather like earrings.  These whimsical designed earrings are pretty cool and they feature first quality sterling silver findings.  Each set of earrings are crafted from select woods that we also use in our Native American Flute lines.  Most of these woods are indigenous to North America with a limited few coming from South American forests.

Blaire and Peyton have managed to create a very attractive looking line of feather like earrings that hang lightly from the ear and with their curvy shape they hang very nicely on the face.  Currently you can select earrings made from Walnut, Ironwood, Maple and some Cedars.  Currently you have a choice of four different sterling silver findings that are available with all current wood choices.  Some have small beads that are incorporated into the ear piece.  Silver, gold, black and crystal beads are available choices and you can view these on our website here.

Blaire is currently seeking out retail locations for her designs and today you can find some of her jewelry down in the Austin Texas area.  The store Gunslinger of Banderra Texas retails her line of feather like earrings in their store located in Banderra, Texas and on their website.  Recently some of these designs were featured by Gunslinger in a full-page ad in the James Browlin edition of  “Cowboys and Indians“. You can order online from Gunslinger of Banderra Texas some of her earrings for $39.00 plus shipping.  Here is the direct link to the products featured in Gunslinger’s James Browlin edition ad.

If you own a retail store or know of a boutique that might like to carrying Blaire’s 307 Wear Designs contact us at sales@tetonmarketing.com and someone will contact them promptly.  You can also order these direct from Blaire on our website at www.tetonmarketing.com for the retail price of $39.00 plus shipping.  And finally they are currently available on www.etsy.com.  To find them simply query “wooden earrings Jackson Hole” and they will come up. These are very nice earrings and are gaining in popularity every day.

Finally, as I said in the first paragraph that this is near and dear to my heart.  I have watched Blaire grow from a wonderful child into a beautiful, strong woman and I would like people to see what she is capable of creating.  Next time you are shopping for a gift or even something for yourself check out tetonmarketing.com and see what new things Blaire is up to.  A family affair this is as all members of our family are involved including our  youngest Brynn – who of course likes to be the first to have at least one of everything we make.
