Acrylic Orange Alaskan Yellow Cedar Flute
Another Acrylic Orange flute almost completed. Tuned to Key of F# tuned @ 440 Hz. Hand crafted from Old Growth, First Generation cut Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Flute bore is 7/8″ in diameter giving this flute a very nice mid tone voice.
Finished both inside and out in bright fun orange. Featuring hand cut Maple Totem Rails to help guide placement of the Mustang fetish focused on the cutting edge.
The Totem selected for this flute is our whimsical interpretation of the Wyoming Mustang. Completely hand carved and shaped from a solid piece of old growth Maple. Fetish features a chimney design so placement is fairly easy to accomplish.
Overall length is 24″ long and the playing holes are are spaced at 1 1/8″ apart for the bottom 3 playing holes and the upper three are set 1 1/16″ apart on center. There is a 1 1/4″ space between the #3 and #4 holes. Finally this flute is finished with a high gloss lacquer with more than 25 coats applied. Leather is our hand cut Wyoming Black Bison.
