Acrylic Black Alaskan Yellow Cedar Flute
This has been one the most popular flute designs I build. Most order are by commission. Currently I one of these models under construction and it is almost complete. This is the fifth flute crafted in our shop of this design. Beautiful lines and a strong aesthetic presentation.
Scheduled to complete this December, 2025. Tuned in the Key of C# @432Hz. Crafted by Wyoming Artist Timothy Jennings from Old Growth, First Generation cut Alaskan Yellow Cedar. Flute bore for this flute is 1 1/8″ in diameter giving this flute a very nice deep C# voice.
Finished both inside and out in Acrylic Black. Hand cut Maple Totem Rails helps give this flute our signature aesthetic. The Totem selected for this flute is the artist’s whimsical interpretation of the Wild Wyoming Mustang. Completely hand carved and shaped from a solid piece of old growth maple. Fetish features a chimney design so placement is fairly easy to accomplish.
Added accent is a hand cut Elk Antler Cabochon (harvested in Wyoming) with a Sterling Silver Bezel. The cabochon is inlaid directly into the top of the flute body giving this flute a true “AUTHENTIC WYOMING” feel.
This piece does not include the stands seen in our featured image, but can be ordered as an addition for display. Current flute will include one of our table top displays, also crafted from Old Growth Alaskan Yellow Cedar and painted in acrylic black, finished with gloss lacquer or we also offer red and natural finish for stand. Picture will be posted shortly of stand design.
Overall length is approximately 28″ long (measured on top) and the playing holes are are spaced at 1 1/8″ apart for the bottom 3 playing holes and the upper three are set 1 1/16″ apart on center. There is a 1 1/4″ space between the #3 and #4 holes. Finally this flute is finished with a high gloss lacquer with more than 25 individually sanded coats applied. The leather is our hand cut Wyoming Black Bison Lace.

All flutes are purchased using an invoice sent to you the buyer. We do not sell our flutes Online using a shopping cart. All custom orders require a 25% nonrefundable deposit.
