This five hole flute tuned to G @ 440Hz has entered the final phases of finishing. The Mustang fetish has been roughly crafted and matched to this flute. Next will be final detailing of the fetish and lacquer.

This Alaskan Yellow Cedar flute has taken shape and is now tuned. She ended up being a five hole G @ 440 Hz. Crafted from Old Growth Alaskan Yellow Cedar featuring Maple Totem Rails and my signature Wyoming Mustang fetish.
She is a beautiful playing flute and sounds great like all of our AYC flutes. Final sanding is underway and then she will get her many coats of Acrylic and finally finished with a High Gloss Lacquer. Like the flute before her she will be a beauty.
New to this flute is that she is a Five Hole flute and she will get our new Warriors Blood red Bison Lace. This should add a nice finish to this flute. We have ordered and will have this coming week some new bison hides one of which will be this hide color.
Because this is a five hole flute there is room for some customization for those who would like to have something truly unique. Where the #4 hole would normally be cut is a perfect place for a hand made cabochon out of Catlinite or Wyoming harvested Elk Antler… think about it.
Like many of the flute I build you can purchase them prior to them being finished. If you want this flute but would like some customization now is the perfect time to get it donw.

This flute was a favorite in 2019. Currently under construction this is a new 7/8″ Alaskan Yellow Cedar flute with plans to tune to the key of F or F# @ 440 Hz. She is all glued up with totem rails in place ready for the shaping process to begin.
All of my painted flutes are crafted from Old Growth Alaskan Yellow Cedar. This flute like the one before it will feature my signature Mustang totem and ship with a protective bag.
