About Our Lumber
We strive to locate the best material we can find across this great nation. All of our lumber we stock is Old Growth tight vertical grain (VG) stock unless otherwise noted. Boards are individually hand cut and drum sanded and surfaced. Smaller boards or billets are individually shrink wrapped (depending on size) and stored in doors to kept clean prior to shipment keeping the wood in the best condition.

The fist of several orders hit the ground here in Wyoming. This hand selected shipment contains BEAUTIFUL up to16 foot in length boards ranging from 8″ – 12″ inches wide and 8/4 thick. True Old Growth, musical grade, tight vertical grain stock. Perfect for flute builders, relief carvers, luthiers, lathe turners, turkey call makers, specialty craftsmen and more. NEW Luthier Tops and Sides
JHT Lumber has by request is bringing back Tops and Sides (tone woods) for Luthiers. We simply source the finest quarter sawn (VG Vertical Grain) Alaskan Yellow Cedar Mother Nature creates. We source AYC boards in length up to 18 feet and in widths up to 12″ wide. No Knots Clear Old Growth Alaskan Cedar.
All of our Tops and Bottoms are resawn from hand selected boards and milled to a thickness of 5/16″ and we maintain that thickness until shipped for stability. When you select one of our Book Matched sets below you can have us ship it as is or you can have us drum sand one of the optional thickness from the drop down menu before we ship it to you. There is a small upcharge for additional thickness sanding but the choice is yours. As always you can email us with further specs. New inventory being added weekly.

All Pricing shown are single board pricing. Orders will not ship until paid in full. Retail Customers can SAVE 8% – 20% (lumber only) when you order multiple units of similar kind. Discounts are displayed on some items when you select BUY and also in your CART at checkout if any discounts apply. No discounts on shipping.
