Orange Acrylic Flute Taking Shape

Updated image 07/15/2020. Rough shape and playing hole layout identified. Final shaping and sanding under way

Earlier I made a post about three new flutes that I had started one of which is this Alaskan Yellow Cedar flute that will be finished in Acrylic Orange.  This is an update specific to this flute.

The rough shaping and placement of the playing holes are complete and it is now in final shaping and sanding stage.  Once the flute is shaped and sanded I will tune it prior to the final stages of finishing.  As this flute gets down to it’s final shape it is going to be a beauty.

As planed this flute will also get my Wyoming Mustang fetish crafted from maple as are the totem rails.  The flute above which was the first in orange for me found a home in Texas which seems appropriate as the color fits.

This flute is available to purchase ahead of completion so if interested visit the web page specific to this flute.
