In production now is this Lone Bull Bison taken this past summer here in the Yellowstone Basin. This is a very nice 16″ x 24″ Acrylic Mount that is in the process of being framed. The frame is being crafted from Old Growth Alaskan Yellow Cedar and is available in both a natural High Gloss finish and a High Gloss Black. This acrylic is currently scheduled to be framed in a natural high gloss frame. This image was printed on high resolution archival Epson Metallic Photo paper using Epson archival inks. This paper type gives this print a luminous and iridescent appearance.
This image was then mounted onto a clear acrylic, finished with a 1/8” black sintra adhered to the back. Other Acrylic prints are typically printed directly onto the acrylic itself resulting in a lower resolution print with much less vibrance. Finally I had the edges of the acrylic diamond polished with a 3 step process to ensure a diamond shine that adds a stunning finishing touch. Even though this image is set into our own frame design the polished edges really make for a clean finished mount.
