Earlier this month I entered some of my photos from the past couple of years in a photo contest here in Afton Wyoming. I just received an email giving me the good news. The photo you see here is my daughter Brynn loving on her mare Rebecca Star in a small creek here in Jackson Wyoming. This picture was taken this past summer and I thought it was truly representative of the story of the Wyoming Cowgirl. No belt buckles, cowboy hats, shirts, rodeo drama just a girl and her horse. I am humbled this picture was chosen as the winner in the Cowboy & Cowgirl Category.
